November 1st 2002 will be the last release from Serials 2000. Rather than an update we will be releasing the entire database. I do not care who does what with it, nor do I care if people continue to make updates for the program, but please do not use our name. So, if Joe Blow wants to release files FOR Serials 2000 that's fine, but please not AS Serials 2000.
I have been thinking about this for quite a while, and have also talked it over with ThndrKiss, and we both agree that the time is right to close the project.
The site will remain up, as will the board, although I do not know what I will do about the update section yet...

Am 1. November 2002 wird es die letzte Veröffentlichung von Serials 2000 geben. Wir werden nicht nur eine Aktualisierung sondern vielmehr die gesamte Datenbank veröffentlichen. Mir ist es gleich wer was auch immer damit anfängt, oder ob andere Leute damit fortfahren das Programm zu aktualisieren. Wir verbitten uns jedoch, dabei unseren Namen zu benutzen. Wenn Martin Mustermann neue Dateien FÜR Serials 2000 veröffentlichen möchte ist das ok, aber nicht ALS Serials 2000.
Ich habe lange darüber nachgedacht und auch mit ThndrKiss geredet. Wir kamen überein, dass es der richtige Zeitpunkt sei das Projekt zu schließen.
Die Seite wird online bleiben und gleiches gilt für das Board, obwohl ich noch nicht weiß, was mit dem "Update-Bereich" geschehen wird...
Betrachtet mich als ausgeschieden.
